I'll start by saying that I've been for almost 10 years and I'm pretty proficient in it. I can catch fish pretty much any where with it, but I don't know everything. I'm starting this group so everyone from the curious to the professional can learn something new. I would like to more about what other pinheads are doing in the areas they fish, and maybe help someone new to this style of fishing.

I would like to start this discussion with a topic I'm sure all pinheads have considered.what else can we fish for with a centerpin?smallmouth bass seems to be the most popular alternative to steelies.I reccomend in the summer months using your centerpin on the upper delaware and drift hellgramites if you can get them.they will catch large trout in the cooler stretches and smallies behind every rock.you can wade in sneakers and have a great day keepin up with your casting on the pin!
I don't know too much about centerpins or how to use them but i am very interested in what people have to say. This is a good topic and i'm sure that other people would like to know more.
